A STAR of a Fire Pit

The next fire pit below has one of our FPPK's installed. We didn't supply the star burner bur we did get it to burn correctly with a Ford Blue Base Glass. Then it was Topped with Clear Base Glass and Blue Diamonds.  Below you can see the gas shut off on the left and our FPPK box on the lower right.

 

It was a bit windy the day we took the photo, but you get the idea.

Here is a burner type that is ideal for tables. And with that in mind, the following design is built to fit into any base, table or fire pit. Burners don't come with the copper pan unless specified. Our propane Fire Pit burners come in 3 sizes, 12", 18" and 24".

Here are the first of our propane pan burner pictures and more details will follow. These have been replaced with a better and improved newer style burner. We will post in the next week or so the new pictures and details.

We will be posting on the new generation of propane pan burners.These burners cone in 18", 24" and 30". When ordering please specify if the connector is on the left or right side.

Hello Ed, my name is Jai Crandall and I live in central NY.  I have a good friend (Tom Morgan) that has a patio that he generally uses wood to throw some heat for his quests when he entertains.  Unfortunately, as I'm sure you know, the smoke can really get to you after a while. This is a very high end home and he entertains for some very important people.  He would like to eliminate the wood a replace them with some propane inserts. It doesn't have to look like a fireplace, but most importantly, it needs to throw some intense heat.
    Pictures 1,2 and 3 are the front views of the fire pits and as you will notice they are not square ( each picture is labeled with the dimensions), they don't need to stay like they are, so if you want to make them square you can. Just go by the front measurement. Hopefully you can design something that will fit there needs.
    I am sure that they are going to want electric ignition, and you can try to place the control valves in the front. Also, with the good New York weather, you want want to have covers for each unit.

Hey Ed,  Here are some pictures of the burners that I installed. They look great and they are very happy with their performance. Also, I believe that I may have a few more people interested in something similar to what I did for Tom Morgan.  Have a great forth weekend and I will talk to you soon.

That's what I said when I first saw the project, YUK!!!! I tried to figure out what to do????

Jai came up with the Stainless Steel hollow base design and we went to work.

This is a happy ending!

Our propane burners were set to 100,000 btu's each for maximum heat. The glass that we used was Bronze Rust Copper Base Glass.

This is one side of the two sided fireplace and we will post pictures when the glass is installed of both sides.

The fireplace below is a propane burner, self installation with the 2" method, Starfire Base Glass and Gold Base Glass on top

Above we have the old burner with a smaller flame pattern which we will change to a double burner in our tray propane pan burner.

A little bit of cleaning with a wire brush and 1200 degree paint

We filled the bottom with pea gravel and the covered it with sand

Then we installed the propane burner and filler it with pea gravel to the top of the burners.

You can see the pilot light and thermocouple exposed.

So there it is. A clean burning propane burner, 2" method, no soot, no smells, no carbon monoxide and it puts out a tremendous amount of heat. We sell the 2" method because it works and if anyone tries to tell you different, they need your money more than you do. We are the only company building propane burners for glass that don't soot or smell!

The fireplace below was installed by the customer (Kim Clark) with a remote control, propane burner manufactured by us and topped with Starfire Base Glass. The fireplace was transformed form an ordinary to work of art, nice job!

We now have fire!

The fireplace below in in Lakeland, Florida and was installed by John Addison for his customer. The fireplace has one of our propane pan burners with a remote control. We built a brushed aluminum surround with out the inner glass per the customer request. The glass that was used was a Gray Base Glass with Black Base Glass and Copper Ruby Red Topper on top.

As you can see the fireplace was not much to look at until we added our touch.

You be the judge, We think it turned out wonderful!

The fireplace below is a propane pan burner with a lava rock fill. You don't want to crush your own lava rock because of the time. You can use larger lava around the edges of the pan but you will want to use crushed lava in the pan up to the surface of the burners. The glass use in this fireplace was a Ford Blue base with Ford Blue Reflective Base Glass on top. Topped with Clear Pyrite Base Glass and Amber Base Glass accents. The install went very well except for the rock crushing episode.

 

The fire pit below was built by Charlie Helms in North Carolina using our FPPK (fire pit propane kit) burner. This is a propane fire pit with a lava filler. Charlie is now ready to order the glass. Check it out, great job Charlie!

The fire pit is covered to protect it from whatever may fall. Great job!

RV Fire Pits, Portable Propane Fire Pits!

 

 

The fireplace below is an outdoor fireplace fueled with propane. The remote control (battery operated) is located below by an access panel. We will explain as we move on. This fireplace and Propane Burner was installed in Florida.

Here is the fireplace the flat plate was installed onto.

The entire cover is removed for access to the actual remote control.

This is a pilot light and thermocouple system and capable of and up to 100,000 btu's. The entire plate will be covered with glass when it is finished.

 

This new product will allow you to convert any table into a fire table. We can build these with a natural gas burner or even a propane burner. We can add fibre optics, water, fire, Fire Stones, Fire Balls, Fire Shapes, lava, sand, glass or anything else you can dream of. These are the first pictures of these bowl which come in dozens of sizes. The glass that was used in this bowl was Dark Red Orange Topper and Yellow Amber Topper. This bowl was set up with one of our 12" FPPK propane burners.

We will be posting our bowl sizes in standard and as for custom we can make anything. We will also be posting dozens of pictures of the other projects as we have time, like we didn't post enough already?

The fire pit below has a "FPPK" propane burner installed and the burners were exchanged out for stainless steel. If you were to leave the steel burners in you will eventually have rust pouring out of your fire pit onto the patio which will not look very attractive! The glass used was 1/2" Gray Base Glass and Ford Blue Base Glass. The controls were inside the bottom housing, nice fire pit but almost a big oops.

Above you can see the steel ready to rust and make a mess. Remember you get what you pay for.

The burner below has a 300,000 BTU controller, 36" triple ring mounted on a 48" aluminum base plate for a fire pit in San Diego. These can be adapted for natural gas or propane with up to a 96" lead pilot light and igniter.

 

The fireplace below is in Mexico where we seem to be sending more and more propane burners and glass for the new homes being built there. The fireplace below has a Black Base Glass with Ice Ice Ice Topper on top of one of our propane pan burners. Which later a remote control was added by the custom that we sent to them.

The round pan below is a propane pan with electronic ignition. This is a 36" aluminum pan with a 2" lip all around.

The two pans below are stainless steel and are propane fueled with 415,000 BTU electronic ignitions each.

The burner below is a propane manual valve with a pilot light. this burner is mounted on a 60" x 30" 1/2 round stainless steel plate which is not included as standard but an option.

The burner itself is a #304 stainless steel 1/2" pipe triple ring burner and can be used for propane or natural gas.

Let me tell you how we feel about these other companies selling Propane Bunrers for Fireglass that they don't know nothing about:

You purchased a Ford and now you are going to the Cadillac dealer for advice and parts on how to fix the problems.  That is not how it works. We need you to put pressure on the company that sold you the product that does not perform as you thought it should. We will and or can resolve your issues, but you need to make sure these companies stop selling products they know nothing about.

Have you contacted the company that you purchased from?

Have you received any advice from this company on how to resolve the issue?

Are they even concerned about your problems?

Did you disclose to this company what you were working on?

Did this company ask for details about your project?

Have you asked if you can return all of the parts and products because of product failure?

Does this company even have any information on line about their success on propane burners?

Did you receive any customer support?

Does the company you purchased from even have a physical address where you can visit?

We do genuinely feel bad for the customer being taken advantage of by companies such as these, selling parts and supplies, which they know nothing about.

Please keep us posted on your developments so we may continue to remedy your situation. We are proud of our creations, inventions, customer support, product lines as we do all of this for you, the customer! 

This would be step one.  Then we would step in and fix your issues.
