Kentucky Fireplace Remodel.  The next fireplace was built by Dave Luerman in Kentucky and you will now see his before and after also using a base of Starfire Base Glass FireGlass.

Below you can see where it all began. Dave is one very creative customer.   The fireplace that was replaced was very nice but just met the needs of Dave. 

Out with the old and lets frame up the new.  Add the durock panels.

Frame the Hearth.  Install a triple 24" burner.

Add Starfire Base Glass FireGlass and you're done.

The five pictures below are a Starfire Base Glass with Ford Blue Base Glass FireGlass and V Blue Reflective Base Glass FireGlass  and as you can see most fireplaces start very drab.  The logs are now gone below sand and lava rock are poured over the burner.

This fireplace is using:

1/4 Clear,1/4 Starfire Base glass, 1/2 Clear Base Glass, 1/2 Starfire Base Glass, Amber Topping and Yellow Amber Topper, Red Topping and Red R Topper and Orange Light Topper FireGlass.

Here is a fireplace before and after with Clear Base Glass added.

The pictures below are of John Hanson in Northern California and he did a pan burner we provided and installed it himself. This is how the custom pan started.

Here is how it all started.

The bottom of the pan goes in. The top goes on and you light it.  Now the fire glass!  A Clear Base Glass with 3/4" Clear Base Glass on top 

The magic begins with the flames.

Azurlite Base Glass, Clear Base Glass, Blue Green Base Glass, Blue Green Reflective Base Glass, Ice Ice Ice Clear Topper, Ice Ice Ice Blue Topper. Very nice fireplace.

The fireplace below has Starfire Base Glass and Ice Ice Ice Topper. This is a complete makeover and turned out very nice.
